Yes! Our tutors are familiar with the scope and sequence of the curriculum they support. This means they know what is coming up next and can help students preview the material. Getting a head start on new content can be a game changer for many students. If students don’t have work from their teachers, our tutors have many resources and tools to keep the learning going.
Yes! Not only do we find virtual lessons to be effective, but we work with some students entirely online. Not located near one of our offices? No problem. Not able to make it in person one day? Your student can meet virtually instead.
We offer semester and yearlong support for students in AP classes and our tutors have helped many students earn 4s and 5s on their AP exams. Because AP classes are fast-paced and content heavy, students benefit greatly from ongoing, long-term support throughout the year. In the spring, our AP tutors help students prepare specifically for their AP exams by reviewing test taking strategies and exam structure in addition to content.
We also offer 5 lesson AP Exam Review packages for students who are looking for targeted support in the spring.
Absolutely. Working with a tutor helps lower students’ anxiety around a specific class, even if they are performing well. High-achieving students often learn how to better manage their time completing coursework, study more strategically, and build confidence in their skills.
