Alex grew up in southern Maine, enjoying summers on the coast but was ready to flee the nor’easter snow storms. She attended Curry College just outside the city of Boston, and received her Bachelors in Corporate Communication and a minor in Politics and History. After graduation, Alex moved to St. Petersburg, Florida and recruited for the University of Tampa while earning her Master’s degree in Professional Communication. She discovered her passion for working with students and helping them through the college application process. After four years of college recruiting, Alex returned to her Maine roots working for the retail company Sea Bags at their Sarasota location. In March of 2024, Alex took an opportunity to manage one of the company’s newest locations in Beaufort, North Carolina. To continue her love of working with students, Alex is thrilled to be an essay coach and college counselor!
In her free time, Alex loves spending time at the beach, a baseball game or on a yoga mat!
