Allie graduated summa cum laude from Carleton College (Northfield, MN) with a B.A. in chemistry. She then returned to the Madison area (she grew up nearby in Mazomanie, WI) and completed both a Master’s degree in environmental studies and a Ph.D. in chemistry.
She has been a test prep and subject tutor at Galin Education since 2013, specializing in ACT prep, PSAT/SAT prep, AP Chemistry, AP Precalc, and math/chemistry/Spanish subject tutoring. During her time at Galin Education, she has found great joy in building relationships with students and tuning her teaching methods to fit students’ needs. She enjoys celebrating with students when they reach (and often exceed) their goals after months of prepping together.
In her free time, Allie enjoys any activity in nature, tinkering/troubleshooting tech devices, traveling, doing independent research, and photography.
