Bezankeng grew up in various suburbs of Maryland and attended Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Her love for math and exposure to economics via AP classes in high school lead her to double major in Applied Mathematics and Economics. While in undergrad, she was a math tutor for high school students at a local Rochester high school, was a tour guide and resident advisors among others. After undergrad, she worked for 4 years as a research analyst during which she supported the research of PhD economists and policy briefings. This experience reaffirm her desire to do economic research and led to her starting a doctoral program in economics at UW-Madison. She has a few years of experience as a teaching assistant both at UW-Madison and in undergrad.

Bezankeng can offer guidance to students intersted in mathematics, economics and related fields. In her free time, she enjoys weight-training, long walks and hiking (when the weather permits!).
