Brian's strengths as a tutor come from his years of classroom experience. He is skilled at helping students explore a wide range of approaches to solving complete problems.
Brian grew up in a rural Michigan town called Frankenmuth and attended Central Michigan University. While at Central Michigan he earned his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Degree with an emphasis on Chemistry and Earth Science. He has worked as a high-school teacher for 20 years teaching Chemistry, Honors Chemistry and Physics at Olentangy Liberty High School in Powell, Ohio and now at Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart in Madison. While teaching he has coached youth football and developed curriculum designed for the acclimation of freshmen students to the rigors and social elements of high school.
He currently works as the Dean of Students and Physics teacher at Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart and spends his free time lifting weights, coaching youth sports, and watching his 2 boys participate in the numerous sports they take part in.
