Cameron was born and raised in Manitowoc, WI and moved to Menomonie, WI to study Hospitality Management at UW-Stout. After graduation, Cameron worked in Minneapolis in the hospitality industry but made the change to teaching when she moved to Madison. While teaching, Cameron received her teaching license from CESA #2 and her reading teacher license from Edgewood College. Cameron was a special education teacher in Stoughton, Verona and McFarland before leaving teaching to pursue a job in Edtech.
Cameron enjoys cooking, reading, baking, biking, reading and exploring Wisconsin. Cameron also spends time owning a photography business in the Madison, WI area.
