Charlie grew up in Middleton, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At UW-Madison, Charlie studied Political Science while spending his summers as a camp counselor in the Madison area. He played for the UW-Madison club lacrosse team, and spent the summer of 2016 as an intern in First Lady Michelle Obama’s administration.
After graduating, Charlie moved to Chicago and taught high school English for students with unique learning challenges at Chicago Bulls College Prep. He also served as a student advisor and football coach while at Bulls Prep. He attended the University of Illinois-Chicago, where he received a Master’s degree in Educational Policy Studies and is now working on a PhD in the same field.
Charlie’s experience as a student advisor provided him with lots of experience in executive function coaching and college readiness. In his free time, Charlie enjoys playing golf, camping, and rooting on the Badgers, Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
