Heaven is from the Mequon/Milwaukee region, and she currently attends the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health as a second-year medical student. Growing up, Heaven was very involved with music as a flautist and violinist, and she began teaching younger musicians early on. As a high schooler, Heaven also tutored peers who needed help with ACT subjects. With a growing passion for teaching, she began tutoring peers the Korean language as she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an undergraduate.
During her time studying Neurobiology at UW-Madison, Heaven also led the Wisconsin Pre-Medical Society and was involved with research projects related to microbial health and ecology. She worked as a CNA, providing direct care to adult and pediatric patients at the local Meriter, UW-Health, and American Family & Children’s hospitals.
As a medical student, Heaven is currently involved with research projects in orthopedic surgery and public health. She really enjoys working with kids and teens, and she hopes she can be involved with teaching as a physician! In her free time, Heaven loves to hike, run, go to hot yoga, travel, visiting family, and trying new food/dessert spots on State Street with friends.
