Kimberly is originally from the Chicago area and attended the University of Notre Dame where she received her bachelor’s in Anthropology and Irish Language and Literature. During undergraduate, she assisted in biological anthropology research involving hormones and fatherhood and archaeological research off the west coast of Ireland. In addition to her field work, she spent a semester abroad in Ireland at University College Dublin and a summer participating in language immersion in Gleann Cholm Cille, Donegal. On campus, she was involved in the Notre Dames club focused on issues that affect women both on campus and globally, as well as the Irish club.

She is a teaching assistant in the Department of Anthropology where she recently earned her Masters in Anthropology and is working towards her PhD in anthropology with her research on ceramics, foodways, and diversity in the highlands of Mexico. In her free time, she enjoys running, watching sports, and traveling with her friends.
