Lauren grew up in Rockford, Il. where she started coaching and tutoring students in her teens. While initially starting as a journalism major, she realized her calling was to work with students. Since obtaining her BA and then her MA in education, she has taught in both the public and private sectors. She has also worked as both a Principal and an Assistant Principal. She has dedicated her life to her students.
In addition to supporting her students both in and out of the classroom, Lauren continues to advance her professional training, most recently in the Science of Reading and Orton Gillingham Instruction.
Lauren is eager to connect with students to be an additional support and celebrate student accomplishments. She has years of experience assisting students with executive functional skills. Lauren finds joy in reading mysteries, gardening and playing pickleball with friends. She is an active member of the downtown Madison community!
