A Madison native, Pat has been in the field of higher education for the last 12 years. Most recently, Pat served as Director of Admission at Beloit College where he oversaw domestic enrollment and recruitment. Pat enjoyed reading and assessing college applications, working with athletic coaches, and translating the financial aid process. During his time at Beloit, Pat helped to create two of the largest enrollment classes in the College’s 174-year history. Now at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Pat works with the Division of Continuing Studies in the development of enrollment strategies for the University’s accelerated graduate programs.
Pat earned his M.S. in College Student Personnel at Western Illinois University where he focused his studies on the college sophomore slump, men’s development, and students with learning disabilities. Since graduate school, Pat has presented at colleges and national conferences across the country. Pat’s wife, Jen, serves as the Director of Student Engagement at Beloit College where she helps to develop the College’s emerging student leaders. Pat and Jen spend their free time attending Badger hockey games and playing with their 3-year old son, Ollie.
