Sarita brings over a decade of experience in education and community engagement to her work as a College Counselor at Galin Education. She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Welfare and Gender and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Sarita currently serves as a Community Schools Manager for the Madison Metropolitan School District, where she leads staff development and cross-sector collaboration to advance educational equity and student success. Her background also includes serving as a Madison Area Coordinator and Pre-College Advisor with the PEOPLE Program, and she has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent students in gaining access to inclusive community-based programming and resources.
Deeply committed to access, equity, and student-centered support, Sarita is passionate about helping students and families navigate the college planning process with clarity and confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and gardening, and lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband and two children.
