Scott received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He went on to earn both a teaching certification and a Master’s degree in Education from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Scott spent seven years working for a Chicago charter school network. He started as a middle school special education teacher before becoming a special education program administrator at two charter schools.

While working in special education, Scott also earned a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. For six years, he worked at a private counseling practice near Chicago. He specialized in providing executive functioning coaching, academic coaching, and individual counseling for high-achieving, under-performing students.

Scott combines his unique expertise in special education, school administration, and therapeutic counseling to foster meaningful relationships with clients. His main goal is to help direct students along the path to self-directed learning, executive functioning skillsets, personal growth, and independence. In his free time, Scott likes to read pop culture history books, water-ski, and play softball.
