Steve grew up in NYC and obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Applied Economics at Cornell University, where he has developed a strong passion for applying engineering principles to real-world challenges. His academic journey has encompassed a variety of coursework, including Chemical Process Design, Thermodynamics, and Biomolecular Engineering, along with hands-on experience in laboratory techniques such as organic synthesis, chromatography, and site-directed mutagenesis. He has also been involved in research projects at Cornell, assisting with drug delivery systems and bacterial vaccines.
In addition to his technical experience, Steve is a dedicated mentor and leader, serving as a Teacher Assistant for Heat and Mass Transfer and as President of the Cornell University Peer Advisor Program, where he supports first-year engineering students with their adjustment to college. His extracurricular involvements include leading philanthropy efforts as the Philanthropy Chair of Delta Kappa Epsilon and as a faciliator for Engineering Chemistry by leading weekly workshops for students who want support.
