With over thirteen years of experience working in admissions, college counseling, advising, recruitment, and program management, Susan is dedicated to assisting students and families from a range of backgrounds with navigating the college process successfully and holistically. At UW-Madison, Susan helped to oversee the selection of undergraduate and transfer students and has recruited at high schools nationally and internationally. Susan also taught at a private high school in the Bahamas and worked for several years as an academic and international advisor at two public research universities. Susan is passionate about helping young adults pursue their higher education goals, and through her professional expertise, provides an insider’s view of selective admissions. Since her time working in higher education, Susan has spent several years helping students gain admission to universities and colleges where they can thrive.
When she’s not counseling students, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, touring universities and colleges, and doing therapy volunteering with her two Golden retrievers.
