College Counselor

Zachary grew up in central New Jersey and attended American University. As an International Studies major, Zachary always found himself interested in the intersection of international development and education. This interest led him to join Teach for America as a math teacher on the Rosebud Indian Reservation. Seeing the gap in support at his school, Zachary took on the task of building out the school’s college counseling program. Since then Zachary has honed his skills serving as a college counselor in schools in Boston and as an educational adviser for a high selective scholarship foundation supporting high achieving students across the country. Recently, Zachary has moved to the Twin Cities to return to a school based role and be closer to his family.

Zachary loves helping students find their voice through the college process. From developing strong lists to ensuring every detail of an essay is intentional, Zachary loves helping students center themselves and their experiences in every application. In his free time, Zachary loves cooking, board games, traveling to National Parks, and quiet evenings with his wife and two cats.
